History

March 2022, Woodbine Neighbourhood Centre rebrand / name changed to, Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur (NHM). There were many reasons for this decision, one of which was to inform people we are inclusive to the Macarthur region.

Woodbine Neighbourhood Centre Inc. trading as Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur (NHM) is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity, funded by The Department of Communities & Justice (DCJ) and managed by a Voluntary Board of Directors.

Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur was originally based at Bungan Place Woodbine and known as the Woodbine Community Cottage, in 1982/83.

In 1985 the Campbelltown Council build the Woodbine Neighbourhood Centre at 83A North Steyne Road Woodbine and invited the Woodbine Community Cottage (WCC) to operate out of this building, at this time WCC became known as the Woodbine Neighbourhood Centre and the Centre opened to the public in May 1986.

Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur (NHM) is committed to building strong, cohesive, and inclusive community, supporting families, children, and individuals of all ages and background to connect with services and the wider community. 

Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur is a community strengthening service and provides:

• Support, information and referrals to local services, groups, and activities
• Inclusive programs, workshops, community activities and events 
• Access to resources available at the Centre, or connection to local services within the community to meet current needs 
• A safe and friendly environment for people to form connections
