Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur.

Volunteering is a rewarding experience and provides many benefits to you and to the community you work with.

We have several volunteering opportunities:

• Playgroup assistance (Monday or Wednesday)
•Food Relief Assistance (Tuesdays preparation or Friday) 
• Administration assistance
• Helping with other activities including community Events (clothing pool)
• Marketing / social media/ developing promotional materials for examples; in house flyers, newsletter.

Neighbourhood Hub Macarthur also encourage and seeks people who are experienced educators and/or who have the expertise in specific areas, this may suit a retiree. 

• Children’s development 
• Music for pre-schoolers
• Pilates for young mums
• Art Classes for people with living with stress and depression

Unless otherwise stated, the minimum age for volunteering is 18 years of age. We welcome volunteers from all cultural backgrounds, and areas of experience.

Prior to attending an interview, you will need to organise the following: 

Police Check (which needs to be less than two years old). NSW application can be made online at Home - NSW Police Public Site

Working With Children Check Working with Children Check | Office of the Children's Guardian (nsw.gov.au) This is a free service volunteer.
